In photography and digital photography, portrait mode is a function of the digital camera that is used when you are taking photos of a single subject. When taking photos in portrait mode, the digital camera will automatically uses a large aperture to help keep the background out of focus by using a narrow depth of field so the subject being photographed is the only thing in focus.
WAIT WAIT WAIT.....HOW CAN THIS ATTAINED ON SMART PHONE IT CANNOT DO THAT ?
ON THAT CASE THE PLAY COMES!

REAL PORTRAIT MODE IS ONLY ATTAINED BY DSLR  LIKE CAMERAS THE SMART PHONE PORTRAIT IS JUST MIMICKING IT?HOW DO THEY DO THAT?..THROUGH MACHINE LEARNING !

MOSTLY THEY BLUR OUT FAR OBJECT FROM THE MOSTLY SHAPED OBJECT IN THE FRAME... AND THIS IS WHY WE DON'T GET PORTRAIT MODE PERFECTLY WHEN WE STAY NEAR A WALL IN WHICH THEY CANNOT FIND THE FAR OBJECT AND THEY JUST FOCUS ON ALL...
